1) Feathers: Okay, so I picked feathers because I don't literally mean you have to wear them, but you can get jackets and stuff which have feather detail on the pockets and neck-line and stuff and so I think that looks really cool. And it kind of also gives a bit of edge to your "festival fashion".
2)Dry Shampoo: Now, I wouldn't usually use dry shampoo ever, and I'm not really one for going to festivals either, but if I were to go to a festival, like one where you stay in a tent over night or something, I probably would use dry shampoo because there isn't a shower, and it isn't the best look if you go out with greasy hair! And believe it or not, it actually does look like it's the works of proper shampoo!
3)Straw Hats: Straw Hat's are making their way back in this summer. I chose them for this post because they are really cool and their not too big and they kind of go with any out-fit, and I think they especially look good with festival-wear.
4)Pumps: Long live pumps! I love them, they go with virtually anything, and they're just so cool. You can get different colours, patterns and designs. There's some that I've got my eye on at the moment and they're navy and white stripe and they are £19.99 from Republic. Loving them!
5)Sunglasses: To me, the number 1 rule for Festivals if to always take shades because usually if it's a festival -it's nice weather.. And if it's nice weather, it's sure to be sunny and so they are really the best alternative to getting damaged eyes. Plus, they look really cool aswell. And you can also get them quite cheap from a number of different places.
6)Denim Jacket: I love denim jackets! And this summer, denim is really making a come-back. It looks so effortlessly cool with anything you wear, and I think it looks particually nice with over-sized sunglasses and a dress-tights combo!
7)Stars and Stripes Hot-Pants: These shorts are the coolest! From the design to the way the denim frays out at the bottom. If any of you haven't seen what they look like, then you're missing out! 8)Wellies: As many of you will know, most festivals are known for there being loads of mud, and hardly any grass. So I suggest to EVERYONE that you take wellies. Their so comfy and also protect you from the mud and getting any other shoe's ruined and some of them also come in some pretty cool designs.
9)Bum-bag: At festivals, there's always a lot of things I want to get from there, and take with me e.g. money, iPod, phone. And so the best option is to invest in a bum-bag which you wear like a bag but by your front and it's super-safe and actually can make an outfit look pretty cool.
10)Jump-suit: I would highly recommend taking a jump-suit with you aswell because they're really 'in' this summer and I think they look really nice with your wellies, sunnies and a simple cardigan. And you can also get some of them quite cheap.

ReplyDeleteI hate bum bags, I'm not saying you shouldn't of put it in, they are a cool idea for festivals, but i have just never ever liked them like my whole life.
